Greetings Members and Guests,
Welcome to the website of the Maine Chapter of HFMA. In February 2008 our Chapter reached a milestone shared by few organizations as we celebrated our 50th anniversary. During our Chapters long and proud history we have established a local, regional, and national reputation for excellence in education, talented and dedicated volunteers, and improving the healthcare industry through the advancement of best practices. It is a privilege for me to serve as the 2008-2009 President of the Maine Chapter of HFMA and continue the storied tradition of our Chapter.
The 2008-2009 National HFMA Chairman is Bob Broadway, FHFMA, from Boynton Beach Florida. The National theme that Mr. Broadway will be focusing on this year is “Making Connections”. The connections that we make personally and professionally are at the core of our success. The connections that we make through HFMA allow us to take advantage of the many resources that are made available through our HFMA membership.
If you are interested in making new connections, please contact me to discuss the many volunteer positions available within our Chapter. Volunteers are at the heart of our Chapters success and there are positions available to fit any schedule.
